Silk By The Metre

Silk is a supple and shiny fibre secreted and woven by the silk worm. It has 15% elasticity which means that the fabric does not wrinkle easily.

We sell Pongé and Habotai silk by the metre. These are ideal for silk painting because of the flat weave and high fusing quality with paints. Suitable with all techniques for paintings, cushions, headscarves and other clothes.

We recommend Setasilk Paint and Pebeo Gutta.

Pongé silk is perfect for beginners because of the flat weave and reasonable price.
